Random Update
Just thought I'd let everyone (or the few who still check in) that my thesis is well on its way. Hopefully in the next few months I'll be able to give ya'll a snippet or two.
Oh yeah... and I got married.
And I'm pregnant.

Congratulations on your marriage and pending motherhood! Being a mom, in retrospect, is the most meaningful and fulfilling thing I have done. I know it sounds cliche, and I thought the same thing when my grandmother told me that. (And I had never planned to have children) But it is so true. You'll be amazed!!

And don't you just love the people who will throw the whole "but you dislike kids, so why are you having one?" thing out there. I get it all the time since I did what you did: got married and am trying to have a kid.
Fuck 'em. People who will throw mud will get dirty, and it just shows what judgmental bastards they really are.
